You can call Idylwood apartment which is located in Cheektowaga. (http://www.morgancommunities.com/apartments/ApartmentDetail.aspx?ID=33)They even lease for a 3 month contract if you are working as a contractor. If you have a car and working as a contractor, I think that would be a good place to live in. The only concern for you would be the distance. If you have a car, it wont be a problem at all. It may be 8-9 miles from Amherst. If you are moving to buffalo for good, then there are plenty of apartments in Amherst as well. There are also some Nepalese students going to UB in Amherst, but I do not have contact info for any of them. I have some friends who are working in Buffalo downtown and live in Idylwood. I can give you their contact info if you need. How do I kow all this? I worked there for more than a year.
