My name is Pooja Hughes. I live In Indianapolis, Indiana. My parents got visiting visa and they are planning to come around Dashain time in this October. Me and my husband were wondering how we can buy one way plane tickets for my parents? Should I buy from the agents here or they can buy from agents in Nepal. Which is cheaper thing to do. If you guys know some reliable agents here or in Nepal, please do let us know. If there are any nepalese who are travelling from Kathmandu, Nepal to Indianapolis or to the states, .please let us know with the contact no.

I bought from priceline. I got better deal than the travel agents. Also I could easily play around with dates and travel time.

Can you even come to US with one way ticket on tourist visa? I thought you would need return ticket as well to show to the officials @ port of entry?

Without checking online you would not know which one is cheaper.
Now a days I am suggesting to buy online.

You can manage your travel time choosing manageable airport transit time. One of my family member had only 2 hrs in Qatar and 2 hrs in IN.

I think you need a round trip ticket under visitor visa. Make sure you check this before buying a one way ticket.

You can buy yourself these days. Try qatarairways.com. Yes you can buy tickets from States as well.

Dashain is in two weeks. You cant find cheap tickets anywhere Pooja. Next time try to plan little ahead if you want to find cheap tickets.
