Hi I am about to get married with a Nepali girl with a green card. How long will it take me to get a green card? I stopped going to college and lost my status and have applied for asylum and waiting for an interview.

I am pretty much in similar situation except I am in CPT right now.waiting for asylum interview,..bro I heard that it takes 2 years to get green card through marrying green card holder..but heard that you should be in status for this.

I think we both have to wait until our spouses have a citizenship.
