This White House site says this petition is archived . I don't think Obama administration will approve this TPS.

@robwin...petition was archived because there was not enough signature~ 100k...TPS has nth to do with number of signatures..........USCIS has already decided to grant TPS...its not matter of IF but WHEN,are we gonna hear about this good news. I hope you guys won't hate me for asking this question. What documents can be used to prove continous residence in usa if a person is illegal (ie undocumented person). If the person has
1) No employment document (paystub w2 etc)
2) No school record (out of status).
3)Staying with friends so no rent or utilities bill, cell phone is under family plan and thus bill would have primary account holder name.

does a bank document proves continous residence???

Yes it does. Do you have car? Insurance? Registration sticker?

So bank statement does prove residence ??

4) no car either, that person uses public transportation and sometimes walk. no health insurance either (can't afford one).

robwin, that's coz a petitioner had high expectation and miserably failed. I mean 100,000 thousand signatures, seriously???
But there were another petitioners who asked for far minimum signatures and they timely met the signature limit??
So, don't rub your head against the wall thinking that petition has been archived and that all hope was over. I don't think so. There still is hope. It's obama word.
So, keep hoping.

Btw, the last action taken on TPS for Nepal was on :

Idont think it's coming Haiti was designated TOS within a month and 2 billion funds for relief work compared to that Nepal it's already close to two months I don't know if Obama likes Asians lol

Guys, it is good to have an opinion, but if you don't know about the subject, blind speculation is a disaster. In fact, no one knows if TPS will be granted, but seems that there is a positive wave coming, not sure it is just a wave or there will be an action.

The same website is already congratulating Nepalis, citing the reginfo page as 'peace of mind'
