Guys, I am going through the TPS EAD card send for printing status and found that those who applied earlier and gave biometric test has pending status whereas those who gave biometric test recently (coupe of days back) status show EAD card send for printing. Just want to know if there is any preference based on the status while issuing EAD ?

@neerman when your status changed to card production? My status is also the same since August 11 but have not received the card yet?

I think, it depends how long you have been in US, and what are the statuses you had for that time. I am not sure, but after analyzing all the applicant, I came to this conclusion :)

I am not just taking about me, I have talked to other people on private message :) And yes many status (Sorry don't want to go to detail), and been living in US for 8 years :) My friend who was out of status, has the same pending case status like mine. Another friend who applied Asylum, but denied, he got his biometric on Friday and status changed to card in production on Monday. He is working on his Asylum EAD.

Case-1: Asylum (Pending or denied) EAD card in production process seems faster. Case-2:Travel VISA and applied for 6 months of extension EAD Card in Production immediately after 3 days of biometric test. Guys, please add other cases like F1 (CPT/OPT), H1B (expired/6-year beyond), undocumented etc etc so that we can analyze how they are processing EAD.
FYI: USCIS online status change usually on Friday.

I agree with case 1, but did not understand what you mean 6 months of extension. Case 3: Came legal, but out of status>> Delay I will be updating more.

case 2-Travel VISA is usually given for 6 months and ppl apply for another 6 months of extension with valid reason before the first 6 months visa expires . that's what I mean.

Travel VISA means advance parole, right? But without TPS approved you can not apply for AP, right? Is there any relation between EAD and AP? Thanks

@MimroRaMero, Travel VISA in this context means Tourist VISA for 6 months. For example, parents who came for graduation ceremony. Do not get confuse with Advance Parole (AP). Sorry for confusion. WE are analyzing the EAD case under current status of the petitioner.

I think they are doing it in a bulk. My case was approved on 12th august. Case status now says they mailed the card yesterday.

Mine was approved in 12th. Yesterday the status changed to card mailed to me. I went for Biometrics on 27th july. Also mine is a little different as I did expedited processing due to an extreme urgent situation. So I guess mine was little faster. I mailed the application on June 27th.
