india is a young nation and a strong global player. nepalese will economically prosper under "india" brand.

our cultures, and heritages will still be under our control, but rule of law and taxation will be far efficient under indian system. ofcourse pay more tax, which might actually be used to develop infrastructure; it aint happening under present leadership for sure.

i think kingship of shah dynasty has fueled us with so much hatered against india , especially to people from kathmandu; inorder to save their status as a ruler.

That's fucked up thinking man you can't prosper under India they been relying to Indian exports for so long what happened nothing??? they need a change being a self independent nation and taking advantages of today's world power China.. you can't just rely on India and say that Nepal will prosper under Indian brand so think before you start a thread like this

बरेलीका सचिवन कुमार २०१४ मा लखनऊको एक प्रतिष्ठित विश्वविद्यालयबाट इलेक्ट्रोनिक्समा बीटेक गरे। कामको खोजी गरे तर पाएनन्। बीटेक सकेको एक वर्षदेखि उनी बेरोजगार छन्। उनले पनि पियुन पदमा आवेदन गरेका छन्। 'म प्रतिस्पर्धाको तयारी गरिरहेको छु', उनी भन्छन्, 'सचिवालयको सेवाको एउटा हिस्सा बन्नु आफैँमा राम्रो कुरा हो।'

सचिनले विद्यालय तहको सीबीएसई बोर्डबाट उच्च अंकमा दश कक्षा पास गरेका थिए। सीबीएसई बोर्ड परीक्षामा उनले ७९ प्रतिशत ल्याएका छन्। प्लस टूमा उनको ७२ प्रतिशत छ। र पियन पदका लागि परीक्षाको तयारी गरिरहेका छन्।

लखनऊ स्थित राज्य प्रदेश सचिवालयले अगस्टमा एकै पटक ३६८ पियन पदमा भर्नाको सूचना निकालेको थियो। यसमा २३ लाख आवेदन परेका छन्। यी मध्ये २५५ जना पिएचडी गर्नेहरुको आवेदन परेको छ। २ लाखभन्दा बढी बीटेक ग्र्याजुएटहरु छन्।

स्थानीय मिडियाले यो समाचारलाइ प्राथमिकतापूर्वक प्रकाशित गरेका छन्

आवेदन दिनेहरुमध्ये विभिन्न विषयमा डिग्री लिएका १ लाख ५२ हजार छन्। एमएस्सी, एमकम तथा बीकम पास गर्नेहरु पनि थुप्रै छन्।

३ हजार १३५ आवेदकहरु विद्यालय तहमा ८५ प्रतिशतभन्दा बढी अंक हाँसिल गर्नेहरु छन्। 

उत्तर प्रदेशको जनसंख्या लगभग २१.५ करोड छ। लखनऊ सहरकै मात्र जनसंख्या २८ लाखभन्दा बढी छ। यसले भारतमा बेरोजगारीको अवस्था संकेत गरेको छ।

पियुनको पदमा भर्ना हुन मात्र दुई सर्त छन्– पाँच कक्षा पास र साइक चलाउन जान्ने। त्यसमा पनि महिला र अपाड्डलाई यो नियम लागू नहुने राज्य प्रदेशले जनाएको छ। आवेदकमध्ये मात्र ५३ हजार ४२६ जना मात्र ५ कक्षा पास गरेका छन्। ७ लाख ५० हजार १२ कक्षा उत्तीर्णहरु छन्।

उत्तर प्रदेश सचिवालयका प्रशासक प्रभात मित्तल यी सबै आवेदकसँग अन्तरवार्ता लिन चार वर्ष लाग्ने बताउँछन्। 'आवेदकको संख्या देखेर मेरो होस उड्यो', उनले भने, 'सबैको अन्तरवार्ता गर्न कम्तिमा चार वर्ष लाग्छ।' सो पद पूर्तिको परीक्षा प्रणाली अन्तरवार्ता मात्रै हो।

अगस्ट महिनामा पियन पदका लागि उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य सरकारको सचिवालयले विज्ञापन निकालेको थियो। त्यसका लागि अनलाइन आवेदन गर्ने व्यवस्था गरिएको थियो।

यो पदमा न्युनतम मासिक तलब १६ हजार रुपैयाँ रहेको छ।

How about Nepal annexing India in Nepal? I mean the name of country is Nepal.

For the common people who does not have political ambition will certainly benefit being part of big country.

Sikkim has one of the highest per capita income in indian states (nominal per capita $4000) while nepal has $600. I do think Nepal can prosper very easily far better than any indian state but looking present leadership and educated nepali peoples false ego and and irrational attitude (Completely controlled by highly corrupt political leaders) I dont see that much hope at least in near future.

If per capita income is the standard to measure how well off the citizens are then, Nepal has improved 3 times compared to 1995 (1995: 222, 2014: 730. http://data.worldbank.org/country/nepal). Is that true? Of course not. You have to ask how was Sikkim before annexation and what people feel about the whole thing. Also research on Sikkim movement and what kind of priority does Sikkim gets from Indian central government.

i dont find out let for progress of nepal under current situation where group of 200 plus people can close the road and obstruct daily supply of goods. there is no strict rule of law, hence anyone can do anything.
