Is anyone working for Cognizant in this group? I have a Cognizant manager who wants me to be full time at Cognizant. Currently I have my I140 approved and I dont want to leave my employer. What is the Green Card policy in Cognizant ? Anybody have any idea ?

@roomrent969 Actually Cognizant is not a Desi company.. it is an American based company that works on the two in a Box and outsourcing developers structure. That said huge percent of the company employees are from India.

You better finish your paper work first and join anywhere you want. But my experience says, do not ever join the consulting company like- Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Better join the company that has home grown project. Consulting company have a lot of pressure on the low level employee cause they have a short span of time to warp up the project and impress their client. This is just my opinion, not a legal advice.

I work for cognizant. As per my understanding, you should not have any problem going fulltime with Cognizant. You will get your GC on about almost same time that you originally file. You will always be employed. Plus, if you leave your company and work for Cognizant, you might end of making more than whatever you are making now.
