Has anyone applied for australian visa from USA ? My parents are planning to go to Australia and currently they are in USA. So, I was wondering if they allow to apply visa to Australia when you are residing in USA and your citizenship is Nepalese ? Any insights would be highly appreciated.

You can apply australian visitor visa online. It is extremely easy. There is no need to send passport and you can upload your passport pictures, proof of income etc. It is done through ETA and your passport number is used to track visa . I had applied from USA and got mine visa approved within 1 week. You can get more details in the australian visitor visa application page. https://www.border.gov.au/
