Yekku,
I am not sure if this is the correct place for this sensitive and very personal topic which may or may not apply directly to you.
But I am going to write here anyway what I know through some personal experiences in the process although I do not know the actual work done on the body since that was not needed. There was a thread few months back regarding this where user had share her personal experiences. I am more correctly talking about process called IVF. I am sure there are other names or maybe other ways too.
The process is same - here in US or in Nepal or India and any part of word.
At high level -
1. Find egg donor based on your criteria (can be someone you know like friends, sisters or even your own mother (read a story about mother egg inside daughter) or can be complete anonymous). There are benefits of each and depending where you do (country wise), please consider all.
2. That egg is then fertilize with sperm from your partner/husband or chose ...........
3. During same time, women body is prepared to receive fertilize egg. This is very extensive process.
4. Once fertilized egg is transferred (1-3) inside uterus, there is waiting period to be out of danger.
5. Then you follow with OB/GYN as regular pregnancy.
I know this is a very personal decision and there are lots of things to consider which I am not sure can be done here quickly.
Few years back the cost in US was around $20 K- $25 K.
Also, there is legal matter involved too.
Let me know if you want to know more about it in details.
Things to consider -
Known vs Unknown donor
Donor Criteria
$$$$
Country to do
Physically and Psychologically able to handle
Chances of twins high if more than one fertilized egg is transferred.
What if 1st try didn't work. It is not 100%. In fact the no is quite low than what I thought would be.
