Your best bet is to find someone from Fairfield. Noone is going to drive 2 hours from des moines to fairfiled to pick him up. Ask him to post in rideshare forum and craigslist. I am sure a lot of people travel to Desmoines during weekend since there is nothing in Fairfield.

We have been looking at other alternatives as well. Posted on FB page for the student community as well as craigslist. Throwing it here for more visibility. I am not expecting someone will just drive 2 hrs from DesMoines just to give him a ride, but if someone were to go that way for any reason or know anyone that might be coming from there, they might be able to help.
