Your concern is very valid, however, i have seen people not mention about unauthorized work (worked using SSN when you were on F1 and so on..) while filing I-485 and they got their LPR. But if you don;t want to take risk and have stamping, your best option is to fly out to Canada or somewhere close by for a day, that gives you new I-94. That way you have clean slate. Out of curiosity, when did you last travel outside US ? If you have not done any unauthorized work after your last arrival, you have nothing to worry about.

Got it. Honestly, if i were you I would not even mentioned unauthorized work ( i have personally seen people do that) . Here is the reason, if you put that information in your application then they will have to act....makes sense? if you don't then considering the kind of work load they have chances are very slim that they will find out about it. Don;t think too much, plus you don;t really have option.

I did not mention any when applying for my GC. I got my GC recently and did not run into any issues.
