Hi TPS holders, I am in a bit o f a situation. I went to go get my drivers license renewed in Alabama, but they sent me back. I was told they could not verify my info. I took everything necessary for the renewal. They said they use a system called SAVE and could not verify immediately. Can anyone advise?

What is weird is e-verify came out good just few days ago. They must have typed in something wrong. I am going to go back again.

Does online self check E-Verification include the EAD expiration date?
You did not provide the enough information about the Motor Vehicle response to determine the exact cause of the verification failure using SAVE. If they said " could not verify immediately," don't be concerned. You'll be notified as soon as they have new information. But here is the danger part, if they need to file G-845 with USCIS for your verification, that'll be a long story. I hope they didn't mention this to you.
And did you file any new case or any case pending with USCIS office? The majority of SAVE failures point to one of these causes as well. Share if the issues are resolved in the coming days.

Thank you for the reply. They created it electronically. Hopefully I have response soon. I think it is in 2nd verification stage. They scanned my EAD and I believe attached it to the request. The status says “Case under review”

For e-Verify, you do need the new expiration date. I did a self check as well and it came out good.
