Thank you for your comment. I must admit that I made a mistake here; I should have said 'Pope - the head of all Christians' died; NOT 'the king - the only god of Hindus'. Sorry, I was just spreading the news on the basis of the fact that the news had come out from the palace. They said it was from a reliable source; and I thought so too! What an unliable news! What an irresponsible reporter - and me too!

I am a true Hindu and have a great faith in all religions. But I don't even like to think the present king of Nepal is 'the incarnation of Hindu god'. I have no respect for him. To me, however, the late king Birendra was god; in the sense that he did so much good things for the country and his people. It is my personal view.

One thing must be stressed here: Irrespect of what religion we believe in and wherever we are; let us all Nepali unite together for the betterment of our beloved country, Nepal and future of our Nepali brothers and sisters. If Nepal is to exist, we must work together; we must forget the differences that root deep within ourselves for the time being; because we will have time to surface them in future as we build it and move ahead. First, we need a system that functions; that respects differences; that protects citizens and that provides opportunity. In the 21th century, people expect to be treated as respected citizens, not 'subjects' of the monarch.
