When you are supporting the King curtailing freedom of expression in the country, you are exercising your democratic rights. But when somebody criticize your article, that is not an exercise of freedom of expression, right ? What is that ? Oh I remember, "intolerance" !

Saroj, it seems it's about time you start learning abcd of democracy before you start teaching Newuser. The first lesson for you would be this: Criticizing is not "intolerance", not allowing it is. Got it ? For illustration, What your freaking King is doing in Nepal is intolerance. And supporting that intolerance will also be intolerance by association.

And this is not important but because I saw you lecturing about democracy and what not to Newuser, let me tell you this: Newuser is among very few responsible posters in Sajha. And as for knowing democratic value of freedom of expression, he works for an institution that has been defining 'freedom of expression' and 'responsibility' to the entire world. Let's say, he eats, drinks and sleeps the freedom of expression. Don't a supporter of a tyrant king dare to teach him what democracy is, Saroj fella.

Nepe your last question, I will answer. There is no self contradiction when I talk about long distance cyber activism. I am not supporting any changes to the political system right now. So there's no need for me to go there.

ON THE OTHER HAND you and your responsible friends are so concerned about the Dictator so why don't you put your mouth where your words are and be a true freedom fighter and go to NEPAL and do something about it, instead of fighting very safely with your desktop model of democracy fighting.

I know what democracy, openess and freedom means and yes it would be great if it could be implemented in Nepal. Even a two year old can say that. Nepeji, Just leave this man alone who we all have known exactly what we ought to know about. Even King Gyanendra or T. Giri can't defend dictatorship as the way he does.As we know the bottom line of his paradoxical argument, there is absolutley nothing worthwhile to debate with him.

I think I did a big mistake by arguing with him a couple of days ago about that 'tabloid prophecy' of Nepal's political future. It was too much for me and I dismissed that immidiately. Thereafter, he has got unnecessary attention from me which has helped accumulating a false belief in him that he is doing well in sajha discussion. Now, I am regretting for not ignoring him. Although democratic, I can't tolerate support for dictatorship and that forced me to indulge myself in a useless debate.

Well, I would only say let's just ignore him now. We have many important things to write and discuss. I am planning to start a new discussion about how the parties should prepare themselves for the upcoming people's movement.

Nepeji and NewuserJi, I really appreciate your persistent efforts, lets say fight! against absolute monarchy and support for freedom, human rights and democracy in Nepal. I think i do share and agree with most of your views about serimoneal monarchy and multiparty democracy where civil rights, individul freedom and human rights are respected in reality and i think anyone with concious mind may not want to disagree with these basic tenents of 21 century world. I am silent reader of your writings and at least i am acquainted a little bit about Nepe's personality from my uncle (who is a friend of Nepe). Although i don't have very deep disagreement with his ideas, objectivity and intensions i do have little bit to say about his way/style of writing and presenting his ideas to the readers. In some occasions, he seems to be very much harrashing to the oponents of his ideology and writes very personal things/examples. I think it may be due to our generation gap or whatever i generally find difficulty in digesting his writing style eventhough he writes what i also think about Nepal. Nothing personal to u Nepe uncle (i think i should call u uncle, Never mind hai, let me know if u don't like it). I mean, i sometimes feel that if Nepe incorporates some pleasent and liberal writing styles into his postings he would beyound any doubt be really fantastic thinker and prodemocratic activist of the present time in Neplese diaspora. I think you will win the heart of people (including oponents) if you approach to them with love and respect and i think these are the things integral to democretic norms. Anyway, these are my personal views, forgive me if that hurts u any form and style.

You gave me perhaps the best compliments I ever got. I seriously doubt if I deserve it, however I am deeply honored.

After this much honor, I will plead guilty to any charge you bring, ehehehe.

But seriously, I confess that occasionally I have assumed a hostile pose to opposite political views in Sajha. However, this is limited to political views only and that too to hostile postings themselves.

But this is not meant to justify my style. I am sure with a little bit more patience, I can do much better. It's just that with the volume of hostility, indecency and irresponsibility I have seen in Sajha throughout 4 years of my stay, my patience (my patience was legendary among my friends and family. My grandmother, legendary for dominance and power, used to call me 'Buddha' for my docility and patience !) has eroded to some extent.

But that is not full explanation for my hostile style. This hostility basically comes from a sense of activism. I am not sure if writing in Sajha with a sense of activism (cf. pure academic purpose) makes sense. However, I have been getting compliments from fellow activists for exactly doing that.

Activism is tiresome and acting a hostile pose when in fact I am not so is even more tiresome. So trust me I will more than happy to have an academic atmosphere in Sajha and be able to engage in engaging discussions.
