Nation under the shadow of fear and conflict: Badri Nar Singh KC
Kathmandu , 2 June: “The participation of doctors played a great role in the people’s agitation, but after the agitation succeeded the same doctors were victimized. Hospitals have been attacked, professionals are being threatened to give donations. Instead of getting proper security and peace after the restoration of loktantra, the nation is still under the shadow of fear and conflict, political analyst Badri Narsingh K.C. said in an interview to Hindu weekly.
“If a liberated environment for presenting ones opinion is created then, most of the people are still on the side of monarchy. If we are honest to our nation then we need monarchy for the sake of our patriotism. When it comes to nationality then all of the national force including the King must unite together with a mutual understanding.â€
“The parliament has announced Nepal as a secular state there are lots of Christian and Muslim countries in the world but Nepal was the only Hindu state. Then, what quality of Nepal being a Hindu state bothered them to turn it into a secular state?â€
