The goal, which I carried after coming here in DDU, was to achieve the degree of MBA in a certain time, which was 1 year in a fruitful way and high marks, which would certainly make my future bright. Many students want to travel abroad for the good education and so was I the same kind of dreamer. Actually, I was trying for the United States, but due to certain circumstances I couldn’t get that chance. Then I searched for some other options and The Netherlands was also one of those options and was not that hard to be a part of Dutch education. I applied for the MBA degree and was accepted in DDU. There were some so called DDU student who tried to put DDU into trouble and I myself personally am ashamed to know that they were from Nepal. This action nearly brought DDU into a state of collapse but thanks to the dedication and courage of DDU staffs it didn’t happened and we are lucky to finish our degree here. But I am very sad to know that DDU cannot bring the Nepalese students anymore.
Now as I am here and about to finish my degree, the goal of mine is not restricted to achieving just this degree but the goal is now beyond it i.e., after going back to my country I should get a good job.
Though, I could finish my course in the desired period of time, I am doing my best to finish it as soon as possible. There were many difficulties during the study time, which was not by the student only, but the problem was there for the institution as well. I was in a doubt even the institution will exist or not. But everything ended well and now I am about to finish the degree and I hope for the best to my DDU. Though I had totally different views and thinking of the student life when I was back in my country, the life here has made me even tougher and stronger that I can overcome any kind of struggle from now on. Even if I can survive within this difficult rules and regulations of Holland there is not a place where I can survive now.
The right plan for reaching my goal is to get back to my home country as soon as I get the degree and search for a good job. The knowledge which I achieved during this one and half year I want to put it into practice and show that I can be a good business practitioner. Huge effort had to be put to get into this position. I am very thankful to my professors and colleagues without whom this would not be possible. I am very thankful to Mr. Peter Van Oosten and Mr. Loek, who was more than just a teacher for me. No matter where I am tomorrow I will never forget these two figures in my life. They were the right path shower to me and always with helping hands. So, I am quite sure with the knowledge from DDU I will get the best of the job back in Nepal. But for this I need to finish my degree at the end of this November and which I will surely do.
There were some other factors, which also made me easier to complete the education. Thank god I was not ill during my study here. But falling in love has certainly helped me a lot in this matter. She was always by my side and helping all the way. It was also kind of hard for myself and I can imagine for her as well because we were not from the same culture and country. So I feel I am quite a lucky guy to come along with such a friendly and helpful lady who though never knowing anything from my culture gives a lot to me and always be by my side. I also know being with her means so many problems in my family but in other hand this relation has opened me a new door to look into the world and make a world a small place.
Then again being a student I had to earn some just to live my life here in the Netherlands. So I had to work and in the meantime there were loss in the studies of which I had to suffer quite a bit. I was here in the Netherlands with only a limited amount of money, which was just enough for about six months. This was because I use to think that the student life here in Netherlands is just similar to the one they have in the US, where student can earn while they are studying at the same time. So, with the limited budget and many dreams I came to work and earn. Then the life became even harder as there were not much work found. At one time I had to work just for 25 euros a day. Then again I was not letting it go. Now at this moment I have a good job and hope that the life here in Netherlands till the moment I finish my degree will remain good and jolly.

Now I am ready for the degree and cannot wait for the day when I receive those two certificates from DDU. And it’s again good to hear that DDU now has a global presence and we will know DDU as EDU (which in some way is also a short form of education). Good Luck and Wishes for the better tomorrow.
Go On EDU…..
