Hi friends,

I have been looking for Colleges/ Universities in USA, for masters program(MBA or MPA and so on) without GMAT or GRE. I want to get admission for either summer or fall semester 2007. I graduated from USA( Bachelore's degree) and currently in Nepal.
Please suggest me and provide me the information, to get admission and I-20 for masters program for coming semester without GRE or GMAT. Also I dont have that good GPA either. Hoping to hear from you soon.

MBA without GRE? This is the first time I've heard about this. Is Troy State a good grad school? And is this program accredited?

I just had a chat with a program adviser at Troy State and the information provided here by KaleKanchha is wrong. The MBA program at Troy State requires that the GMAT scores be submitted by the end of the first semester. If not, the student will be dropped from the program.

You don't expect to go to Good grad school without GRE or GMAT.

Not to mention the name of the person but he did graduated with his MBA from troy State in 2002 with out GMAT. They may have too many Grad students by now and might have changed the rules too.

you guys don't need GRE and GMAT if you want to go grad school for Physics.

but why r u scare of GRE/GMAT? just take it. most of the university don't care of the score their requirement is "applicant must have GRE/GMAT score".

try Newman University, wichita, kansas.no GRE required.

try university of bridgeport, connecticut . its good for mba and no gre required..
but tution fee is bit higher..

I think in order to get into the Business School to do your MBA, you need to have GMAT, not GRE. I may be wrong, but I have never heard anything like that of having GRE and getting into MBA.

Laborperm I think you are right. I haven't heard of any business school accredited by the AACSB taking GRE scores in lieu of GMAT's.There are schools who admit you without a GMAT score but these are fairly new in terms of the business programs. The AACSB has certain criterias that needs to be fulfilled for admissions. If you just want a degree than its OK to go to a school that isn't accredited. I know a school in Providence, RI that doesn't require you to have a GMAT for admissions. It says its recommended (GRE or GMAT) but not necessary. The schools name is Johnson & Wales and the website is www.jwu.edu .
Its very easy to get admissions hers as long as you can show financial support. The students there have a saying "When everything fails there is Johnson & Wales". Good Luck.

You cannot work while studying, but can get loan from the university to complete your study which you have to pay back working in USA.Very popular amongst computer engineers; mgmt/accounting student can benifit as well.
