Bharati's Akashmathi released in US

PR

Akashmathi, an anthology of poems by Bharati Gautam, was released by Prof Dr Taranath Sharma, one of the prominent literati of Nepal and also a former principal of Kathmandu Don Bosco School, in Boston in the United States of America on Saturday, April 14.
In an event organized by the International Nepali Literature Society, Massachusetts Chapter, to commemorate the New Year following the Bikram Sambat calendar, Prof Dr Taranath Sharma shared, “Despite residing in the United States of America for almost twenty years, it feels great to notice that poet Bharati Gautam still upholds the traditional and cultural values of Nepal. Though she has been living in the US today, all her poems depict her love for Nepal and her Nepali nationality.”

Apart from Sharma, the book launch also had various literati of Nepal. They likewise recited a number of poems while some also chanted a slogan — “Nepali language, Nepali culture, their protection is our duty.”

Following the book launch, poet Bharati spoke on her collection of poems while also recited many of them.

Bharati's Akashmathi consists of sixty poems in total.

Its funny to read GBNC related News else where from Sajha.

Sajha is being used as a time slot during prime hour for advertisment of events only and not a place to post the news. Though they post pictures of events...one has to read the news elsewhere. किन होला हगि ?

जे भए पनि Congratulations Bharati jee.

The photographer was unfair to Bharati jee as he concentrated taking pictures of Mr. TaNa Sharma more. Pictures of even a young girl taking an autograph from him where it should have been the day of Bharati jee. And should have focused more on her. Or he could have posted few pictures highlighting the poet.

I heard the program was good and also the food.

Just my thought ! You don't have to agree with me.
