I am going to nepal this summer possibly mid july i have applied for a us passport. i might get that somewhere in june. i still have a Nepali passport do i need a visa from nepai embassy to go to Nepal.i was thinking of using Nepali passport to fly Nepal and use american passport to fly back .Does anyone has done that. anyone , please help.

Why do you even bother to post such question in here which could be easily solved by calling Nepalese Embassy in DC?

Okay , You can get the Nepali Visa in TIA, upon arrival. THe only thing i am sad that, you became an American Citizen which is a shame for us.

THough i have been in the US for 12 Years, and married with a beautiful wife Sunita, I never thought of adopting US Citizen. I owe my Nepal.

RIght now i am in Nepal, working for Nepal, developing Nepal.

Daky it's my personal decision to adopt us citizen. it was your personal decision to keep Nepali citizenship good for you, but i am not making any judgement why you kept nepali citizenship.so don't judge me thanks for your answer about nepali visa.

I am sorry if i tried to disjudge you. For Nepal to me... is more than a glamorous fact. It is a historical truth. No man can know where he is going unless he knows exactly where he has been and exactly how he arrived at his present place. My Country Nepal Right or Wrong, I love to be a Nepalese, till death.

BTW rnmn, I am also a US Graduate from GeorgeTown Univiersity in DC alumni of 1998. I never thought of applying any h1's and GC, though i have a Nepali American born wife Sunita.

I pursuade my wife give up the US citizen, and adopt Nepalese.
