I am travelling to Nepal in July and this is the first time that I am travelling with E-ticket issued by Qatar Airways. Please share your experience (good/bad) about travelling with E-ticket specially when coming back from Nepal at TIA Kathmandu. Thanks

E ticket is fairly good as paper ticket. Nowadays most of the airlines issue e tickets rather than traditional paper tickets. You just show your booking number at the registration desk, and you will receive the boarding pass.

You got to show the itinerary at the airport. You wouldn't have any problems in Nepal too, but you better contact to confirm 2/3 days earlier at Qatar Airways office before fly back ..! good luck !

I don't think anyone would have problem flying to Nepal with e-ticket. I flew to Ktm last week of May by Continental and Qatar Airways with e-ticket but I didn't have any problem whatsoever. But make sure you reconfirm your booking some days ahead at Qatar Airways office before you fly back.

I have had a bad experience with E-ticket, especially in Nepal while coming back. It was with Air Sahara. I went to Durbar Marg office couple of days before my departure to confirm and they said I just need to show my confirm page to counter in TIA and at airport they said they don accept those. Just a big hassel to deal while saying good bye to your loved ones. Just check before hand and at least try to get printed ticket while boarding from Nepal. Things are still old school back home. Have a safe trip back home. Have fun from my side as well.

It was not a problem for me. Mine was E-ticket too from Quatar airways. Less hassle than the paper ticket, as I just needed the boarding pass and passport and nothing else. Enjoy your trip to Nepal.

Wind, i have hust travelled through Gulf Airlines to nepal from US round trip. there wont be any problem with e-ticket. but the main thing is that you need to reconfirm the return ticket before a week in GUlf Airlines. rest of the thing is fine.
