namaste to all sajha bashi
i have some questions regarding immigration issues and i am sure that people in sajha will be able to clarify those questions.
my first question is: can a guy live separate with hiswife after getting married to his US citizen gf and process his green card?? is it going to affect the process?
my second question is: if a guy who is in F1 status gets married to a US citizen then how long does he have to wait to claim in state tuition rate after hefiles for green card?? does he have to wait 2 whole years until he gets the card in his hand or he can do it after certain time??
your help will be highly appreciated and people who do not want to help do not have to post unnecessary comments. thank you in advance

Question herda you seem like a selfish and opportunist person. So it is not good to answer this question for a stupid person.

well janne bujhne baje.....i will be living separately after marriage because i am in F1 status right now and due to my status it will be cheaper for me to attend a different university out of the state that study in the same state i am living right now.. i have given priority to my studies so i want to complete my studies first rather than thinking about getting green card and not studying. i dont have to justify myself for not being selfish and i was just seeking answers and suggestions not hoping for presumptions.
any more help will be appreciated.

You r looking for right answer and not for suggestion/opinion.
Call local lawer, they charge only 30-70$ per consultation and you will get right answer.

Never give #1 priority to studies and number two to paper in this country if you entered as a F1 student. Paper should be the first one.If you can get papers in few years then those you can always go atten universities after that. They are not going to shut down and run away in few years.
You are lucky that you have someone who wants to marry you today. There are lots of people, good educated people with Phds who migrated to canada cuz they couldn't get the papers. this h1 path to green card is a big headache.
I knew some people who had done out of state marriage.. they said they had to prove why they did that, like studies, employment with better pay etc.. make sure you take lots of pics when you visit each others..

Kaji Sahab, You can pay state tuition fee as soon as you get your green card which will be after one year of submitting application. And about living separately, just make sure you include your wife's name in the apartment lease and get one of the utility bill in her name. And don't get an apartment in her name at other place where she lives. You could do vice versa. She can show she lives temporarily at other place but permanent residence is one place for both of you. This way you won't have problem showing INS that you guys live together. My friend did this before so I know this works with INS.
