I filed my I 485 in july 2. Did anyone get recept number who filed at that time period? How long it will take to get the receipt number? Does anybody have any clue?

sidster: you are qualifed for EB2 if you have US masters or US bachelors with 5 years of experience. Even US masters is qualified under EB2, you still need to show that your job requires EB2.

I have pending I-140 from October 20 of last year. My lawyer still hasn't filed my 140 yet. I heard that if you have pending 140, 485 must be filed before 31st of August. Is that true? I really have to know this coz today is the last day to send the application. Thanks

Yes, I have the same questions. DID ANYONE GOT RECEIPT YET? I mean those who filed I-485 based on July bulletin? I don't know how long they will take.. 1 more months maybe...

If you filed in NSC, and if your file moved to TSC, they are processing the receipt notice of 6/26.

Thanks for that link. At least things are moving. That's what I guessed, it would take at least couple of months to get the receipt number.

My employer filed I-140 & I-485 together under EB2 at Nebraska Service Center on Aug 13, 2007. When do you guys think I can expect Receipt # and GC?
Also when do I have to do the fingerprinting?

(due to high volume of submission of 485 application on July and August.)
