do u guys think, workin in gas station is good job ? why do nepalese seek to work in gas sation ? i feel myself, this is the one of the most unusal job althou i m workin myself in it... how u work while u work ?

niggadog Nepali work in gastations because:
you can put up more hours
you can get paid in cash by dhotis
stupid dv winner don't know damn english and this is the best they could do
students d on't have work permits to work off campus
you can steal money under the register
it's easily available
pays rent, pays bills , more secure than working in a company , where you don't have to worry about getting text message for firing and lose your house and car that you've been braging about and is your identity now
free cigerettes and free soda, food , etc...
GREEN CARD: some gastations even sponsor you for green cards, as managers, mechanics, etc...nigaaaaaaaa whatelse do you want and expect from a dhoti gastation

don't believe me, go see some happy gastation workers in texas.. they have houses, cars, wives, even green cards.. comapny workers are stressed and got nothing besides plain ol' bragging about working in a ncompany...

it is not a good job but poor nepalies r compelled to do so coz u don't have to have work permit, DV holders don't speak english to qualified to work in nice company not in cell phone packing jobs, u can get lots of hrs as well. but i am tired of it and after working 4 yrs in gas station in Tx i am leaving after 2 weeks and going to st cloud.

i work in the gas station...coz flexible hours....and gas station is the only place which pay high....if u check the pay range than urs pay is higher than the other people who do similar quality of job...and the other thing u save a lot of money.....

Why does a lot of people like to bring up the fact that DV winners are stupid? I am not a DV winner and hell I am not even in the US. I see some sort of bitterness among the people. I agree that quite a few DV winners might be stupid but I know quite a few students as well who were pretty damn stupid but are now in the US. So just because you are DV winner doesn't mean you are stupid and just because you are a student doesn't mean you are smart. Could it be jealousy?

OHH I REMEMBER DA DAYS . I WORKED IN GAS STATION. I USED TO STAND 10 HRS PER DAY ... EVEN A SINGLE SODA ALSO I PAID. PAKASTANI OWNER I REALLY HATE THAT GUY.. I USED TO GET TIPS. Some one is curious about all Nepali working in gas stations.

Ancorage group, will lead you depending upon your persoanl interest , capability and On the top of Work-Permit. If you are dying by hunger, you will not choose what you going to eat, is the same situation either the students or the DV winnners. It will be the first stepping stone to move ahead.

First time someone gave me a tip " Survive, hang on, then try to move ahead". They are following the tips too.

Kalopani, may be your father was a Jamindar or a government job holder make good money either under the table or exploiting the poor if jamindar, and YOU got oppertunity to get enrolled in privet school not in Nepal but abroad.
