Could some please suggest me the best way to send money. any companies. I don't have any hurry, I can send within a week or so. I have some savings which I am planning to buy some hand (ghaderi) in KTM. As dollar is going down, I want to sent it now. dollor is going down day by day, any suggestion would be helpful and appreciated. thanks Biwas

Open the account in Washington mutual bank . Ask ur parents to open the account in standard and chartered bank in nepal. Wamu wll send money free of transaction cost and you ll get money in SC bank.

You can use MoneyGram international. MoneyGram is available in any convenient store like Giant Eagle. You can check more location of Moneygram at moneygram.com. Its like western union money transfer but with less fee. Money gets transferred in 10 mins. I tried every sort of things like direct bank wire transfer, thamel.com, moneytonepal.com, etc etc... Finally I found moneygram the fastest way... and to transfer $1000, it will charge like $12 from USA. Only problem with moneygram is you need to provide cash while doing the transfer.

Use www.moneytonepal.com they transfer to nepal without any charge. www.munchamoney.com also is reliable.
