I would appreciate any feedback on what this notice actually means. I am a little bit confused as to if this is the same as a notice saying that "approcal notice mailed" (mine says e-mailed)
My case status reads as follows:
The last processing action taken on your case
Receipt Number: EACxxx
Application Type: I129 , PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER
Current Status: Case approved; approval notice e-mailed.
On October 9, 2007, this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER was approved and we sent you an e-mail notice. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.
If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.
*Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov under Case Status and Processing Dates.
Thanks in advance.

My question did get answered two days later. USCIS sent the approval notice to my lawyer. So I would say that "e-mailed" and "mailed" actually means the same, because no email was sent what so ever.
This H1B shit sucks man! and of course those fcukin IT consultancies. I advise people to never goto one of them people. My H1B was approved for one of those shitty ass consultancies in June, 2007, till when I had already decided not to work for them (damn criminals...and Americans think Mexicans are taking their jobs!!). Luckily I got another job in a nonprofit org. and then thanks to my hard work and luck, another H1B.
The whole process was stressful, expensive, and I gained a lot of weight.
P.S. I still don't know what happens to my old H1B..

FYI
I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER was approved and we sent you an e-mail notice
This means they emailed notice to your Attorney. Same thing happened to me and my attorney forwarded that mail to me same day.

The approval notice may send through either email, fax or mail. This is the process that USCIS will follow through if you include e-mail/fax to be sent approval notice to you. Your representative (either your lawyer or your company personal if represent you directly) will receive original approval notice which is I-797A within a week. USCIS has grace perid of 30 days. Within 30 days if your representative did not receive approval notice in the mail you can have your representative call them and have them investigate it.

Hey enigma,
No, I did not transfer my H1B, there were a bunch of lawyers who told me that I could transfer my H1B visa (even without working/paystubs/approval receipt) but none of them could give me a valid argument. Luckily, I met a very good lawyer who showed me that I could make a very good case on cap-exempt H1B instead. I went with it, and then was lucky enough to get it.
I still don't know what happens to my previous H1B. Those fcking dhotis and their lawyers do not even reply to my current lawyer. They're freaking a**holes. My lawyer gave me a step by step of how to file a complaint, but it is too long and slow, so please, if any of you folks know an easy/fast way to file a complaint on these IT consultancies, please do let me know.

Hey enigma,
I forgot to answer your question. The H1B law states that you can have multiple H1Bs. So the answer to your quesiton is Yes.

Hi all,
I got another question. How long does it take to get the green card if applied through EB3. I currently hold H1B..I don't think this matters, but still letting you know. I have different answers from different sources. Any of us here know something close to the truth.
Thanks!
