Hey Alwaysme !
It's unlawful to transfer money from Nepal to USA unless it's a business transaction and is supported by Letter of Credit and other documents. There're some channels referred to HUNDI who do such business where you can deposit whatever amount you want to transfer to Nepalese agent in Nepal and receive the equaivalent dollars here from their agent here in US.
It would be better if you shed lights why you want money- for personal use, for college fee or for other business purpose. I may have more information if keep here posting.
Good luck

What state are you in, I might be able to help you out with a couple of hundred dollars, if we are in the same location!!
Peace

Thanks for your responses. Just thinking about the possibilities of starting a small project, lending money to start up small businessess. Of course, the cash has to flow in both directions. I guess, its not gonna be easy without setting up business entity in Nepal, as Ambition mentioned.
Hsinam, u seem to be very helpful. Thanks for the offer.
