je hosh pictures are great.. I do not want to even think about the situation of kathmandu if the same thing happens again. Ktmko hari bijog hunchha teti ritcher scaleko earthquake aayo bhane. 

Experts say that more 60,000 people will die and more that 1 lakh will be homeless if same thing happens again in Kathmandu.

a question - what was the scale and duration of the 90 saals earthquake?

I think it was 8.4 Richter scale.

yacc, despite my efforts to find the exact time on the internet, I couldn't find it. But according to hearsay, I think it was 1.5 minutes. (my grandparents used say)

1.5 minutes is a long long time for a 8.4 scale.. I remember waking up to 5-10 seconds mild shakes and someone shouting "Bhuichalooo" in the neighborhood...
