If you're willing to work hard and that is the field you really want to get into (even though it's tough), I'd say go for it rather than live a life of regret. Your two more years of sacrifive can mean a change in your future course of life (for the better!!). Hard work and commitment will get you places son! Best.

yeah... its a good field.. and u definately need maths background.. in electrical engineering, there is definately brighter future for digital and mixed signal guys. the pay off is real good but u have to get in good school. Being an engineer, u need to be more competitive out in real world to survive and better uni. definatley prepares u for that.. since u r already in community college, i suppose u have good grades enough to get transfer to good colleges.
