nepali airport ma laptop, handycam, etc ko tax/charge linchha ki linna? 1 laptop, 1 ipod, 1 camera, etc ta personal ho bhanera duty exempt garna paainchha bhanne suneko chhu...saacho ho ta?

Try calling all the travel agencies' ads that you see here in sajha. I found zen travels to be better in overall (special thanks to 'Maiyaa').

Regarding electronics and cash, I have questions myself. If they bother me regarding electronics at nepalese airport, I will rather break them right away than pay them for NOTHING ..hahah ... If you find better solution, let me know .

Keep checking with different agents and it does not hurt. You neve know, who has the best deal. Any one coming for Dasai????

 

M going to Nepal along with my other 3 frens for dashain and tihar for 2 months and i got the rate of $1498.(including all taxes and fees).

no worry about tax and duties in the airport. you can also take two laptops - one in your laptop bag and one in backpack bag. they don't usually check your backpack.

if you are going back permanently, you might feel like missing something for next 3-4 months, but you will be all okay after that. anyway, go back and enjoy your stay and have fun with family, relatives, friends howmuchever you will be staying there.  

 

Taking two laptops, sounds good. If you have transit in London, they are very strict on number of hand piece as well the weight. So, do you you have to do.
