In my opinion, you don't need to be US citizen to be interested in US politics.  Yes, you don't have to be interested, but if you are, it just means that you like being aware of what is going around you.  Plus, like it or not, who the next occupant of White House matters to not just the US but also to the world.

"Kaag lai bel pakyo, harsha na bismaath" bhanney comment chai is probably more appropriate for those who are not interested (nothing wrong with that) or plain old ignorant (something is wrong with that).

I for one will be glued to TV from 6:30pm onwards on Nov. 4th.  Chances are, we will know Obama is the new president by 8:30pm.

Planning an 'Election Party' at my place. With CNN on TV after work friends will be coming over and there's going to be beer and pizza.

To me it's like watching the super bowl :-)

Yes, me too, with the "best political team on TV" throughout the day and night! :) I love the team!

The poll closes at 7 PM in VA; so I think we will know fairly early that Obama will win if he does win VA. The trend in VA may also reflect to some of the reddest states like Montana and North Dakota.

My wildest dream would be AZ for Obama. I know it might just be a wishful thinking. Anyways, can't wait until tomorrow night!!!

i wish i could vote! since i can't i'll just make a wish...and hope obama wins.
somewhere someone said," big minds talk abt issues, little mind talk abt ppl." or something similar....
it's belittling how mccain campaign is tagging obama as everything from socialists to a terrorist....
crossing my fingers...hoping the bigger mind wins here

As I am staying in US I am a part of US election.

I like Obama's plan and all thing. I watched the 30 min ad of Obama also which is also preety gud. But only thing is that he is black.

I asked my white american manager whom he is would vote. He said "I am american, I love america that's why I would vote Mccain."

I think its a war between two america one White America and another Immagrant and black america. And till the result came we can't say whom gonna win this race.

and this....

DIXVILLE NOTCH, New Hampshire (CNN) -- Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama emerged victorious in the first election returns of the 2008 presidential race, winning 15 of 21 votes cast in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire.

Tanner Tillotson, front center, of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, wins the honor of first voter.

Tanner Tillotson, front center, of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, wins the honor of first voter.

People in the isolated village in New Hampshire's northeast corner voted just after midnight Tuesday.

It was the first time since 1968 that the village leaned Democratic in an election.

Obama's rival, Republican John McCain, won 6 votes.

A full 100 percent of registered voters in the village cast ballots. And the votes didn't take long to tally.

The town, home to around 75 residents, has opened its polls shortly after midnight each election day since 1960, drawing national media attention for being the first place in the country to make its presidential preferences known.

However, since 1996, another small New Hampshire town -- Hart's Location -- reinstated its practice from the 1940s and also began opening its polls at midnight.

The result in Dixville Notch is hardly a reliable bellwether for the eventual winner of the White House -- or even the result statewide.

While New Hampshire is a perennial swing state -- with 4 Electoral College votes at stake -- Dixville Notch consistently leans Republican. The last Democrat it picked was Hubert Humphrey over Richard Nixon in 1968.

President Bush won the town in a landslide in the last two elections: He captured 73 percent of the vote in 2004 (19 residents picked Bush while six preferred Sen. John Kerry), and secured 80 percent of the vote in 2000 (21 votes for Bush, five votes for Al Gore.)

But villagers expected the results to be close this year given Democrats now outnumber Republicans there.

The town picked both John McCain and Barack Obama for the New Hampshire Democratic and Republican primaries in January. McCain ultimately won the state of New Hampshire, while Sen. Hillary Clinton upset Obama there.

Past Results:

Obama: 15
McCain: 6

In 2004:

Bush 19
Kerry 7

Good start, huh? Especially considering this little hamlet in the middle of nowhere (pop. 75) is quite Republican:

2000:

Bush 21
Gore 5

1996:

Dole 18
Clinton 8

1992:

Bush 15
Perot 8
Clinton 2

1988:

Bush 34
Dukakis 3

I was watching the last Obama rally in VA live on the TV last night. It was amazing. What was most amazing was the way he concluded his remarks. After that, I spent more than 3 hours wondering and searching to see if someone or some blogs have posted the video of the ending. No luck.

Now, this morning, I did find it. I want you all to see for yourself:

Fired up! Ready to go!!!
