Maoists are trying their level best to adopt Braille System for entire Nepal.

The Braille system is a method that is widely used by blind people to read and write.

Maoists are doing homework to implement Braille system for all schools of Nepal, villages and the cities. This way there will be no discrmination between villages and the cities of Nepal. This revolutionary step will fix many existing problem in Nepal including the prolonged load-shedding.

In the upcoming visit to EU countries, PM Prachanda will be extending hands for the aid to Nepal in order to develop this excellent and advanced technology of Braille in Nepal. Prachanda recognizes that the Braille system will allow 100% students of Nepal to read their school materials and books at home even when there's load-shedding. He is planning to ask for donation from European countries for producing all the school and university text books in Braille and additional support for training the school children on how to use the Braille system. This revolutionary action will completely free Nepal's education systems from the dependency on electricity. The future generation will be excellent workforce for the development of Nepal san electricity, and cutting down the grenhouse gases.

For the second year of it's ruling, Maoists are mulling over tranforming all the newspaper and magazines in the Braille system in order to create environment of free-press. Prachanda claims that in 10 years time, Nepal will be the first Nation in the world with 100% leteracy rate in Braille system. Since people will be using the touching sensation to read and write, nepalese people will also be the most gentle people in the world, where the notion of "Less Talk, More work" will be materialized. Another exemplary advantage of this system will be the walls of cities being free of wall painting because in 10 yars time, people will forget about using their eyes to read and wall painting with slogan will be obsolete.

This has gotta be a joke. First of all, it is ridiculous to even believe that (non-blind) people would widely accept braille as a substitute to reading! Second, printing in braille is really expensive. I volunteered at Nepal Association for the Welfare of the Blind, so I know. Very few new books are translated into Braille each year. The logistics required for this is way beyond Nepal's capacity. Dream on!

Alright, I know this is a joke, but I couldn't help it!

Not to forget, they want to take Nepal back to Pristine state that will be free of science and technology. What do you expect from these hooligans who came out of the woods after 12-13 years?

Maoists are also thinking of running govt. offices on alternate days to cut down the evil power demand. Because there are 7 days in a week, which is odd number... alternating the office opening days will be confusing. Therefore, Maoists are working on bringing in 6- or 8-day week. Either they will drop one of the current days (probably Shukrabaar, because they fear that Friday is a dangerous day and Gyanendra or monarchy may come back with a bang on Friday) or add one new day to make it 8-day week (they are thinking to name that new day something like "Janaganatantrabaar" or "Prachandabaar").

There's also a talk that once they start implementing even-day week (6- or 8-day) and running govt. businesses on, say, odd day a brand new law will be passed banning sexual activities on even days. Guess why? They think that if people engage in sexual activities on even days, their productivity will be weaker on the next day (odd day) when they need to come and work. This is necessary because given a fact that only 50% of the week is working days, Nepal must ensure highest possible productivty from its workforce. In addition, forcing people to then engage in sexual activities on odd days also benefit in a sense that they will be a bit tired/stressed from day's work, and they cannot sexually perform well in the night time. This will surely reduce the population growth in Nepal, which will then support the sustainability.

Brilliant.

Now if only they could release that secret hamster powered electric generator.

Seriously guys! 16 hrs of load shedding! Is our country going back into the dark ages or did they get inspired by the Amish?
