BUDDHA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH NEPAL OR INDIA OR ANY PLACE. ITS GOOD SOMEBODY FROM INDIA IS GIVING IMPORTANCE TO BUDDHA....OTHERWISE WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD KNOW ABOUT HIM. LOOK AT NEPAL AND NEPALESE .....WHO CARES ABOUT US NOT EVEN OURSELVES.....

WHEN PEOPLE WERE BEING KILLED IN LUMBINI DID ANY ONE CARE.......NO.

LIVING IN DARKNESS, STILL HAPPY.........PEOPLE DYING IN STREET ,STILL HAPPY.......PEOPLE ABROAD, VERY HAPPY.......MIGHT EVEN SAY I AM NOT NEPALI.....WHO KNOWS????????

Man WTF !!!!  Does it really matter where he was born ? You really think he(Buddha) would agree with all these bickering and fighting regarding this matter ?

Yesterday the great Buddha came in my dreams.
He was saying he was born in bed.

HAHA well said nepwanted........but joke apart.. He was not born in the bed. He was born in the lumbini garden while his pregnant mother was travelling.......

But why we care if a foolih movies has mentioned that buddhha was born in India. There are so many instance when India humilitates Nepali by Tracepassing Nepali land, By Tracepassing Nepali politics but we don't say anything... So why this Halla now.......

your damn rite'

when they make something out of a movie . theres a big hoo haa however when india starts taking small bits of land then everyone turns deaf ears.

its just like the case when the 12 nepalis were killed in iraq. people turned violent and acted wild however they failed to realise that the maoists had also killed thousands yet they didnt turn violent and start rampaging the streets.

Buddha was born neither in Nepal nor in India. Then where? Kapilbastu. Kapilbastu is in Nepal now. But Nepal has got nothing to do with its current geopolitical location. Nepal has not earned this land just because Buddha was born there!

Buddha is known as 'light of Asia', not something as of India or Nepal. So, is it appropriate to discuss on this topic as to where he belongs?
