1. i saw a thread about eurotrip, i think 10-12 days ago. can someone help me find it? 2. am planning on a mini-eurotrip (5-7 days only) on the first week of august. frankfurt-amsterdam-brussels-paris. i'm heading out alone. so if anyone wants to join, lets talk! 3. i know that there are lots of travel guides and blogs on the net, but i'd like to know the trip from a nepali perspective. if any nepali bro or sis has traveled/lived in the cities mentioned above, please do post here about the life in general in the cities and must-see-things jaya hos

i'm on schengen visa. applied to germany embassy via mail with a fee of about 80 bucks. they stamped my pp within 2 days. you can apply to any schengen nation embassy. all you have to show is enough funds and health insurance. if you are traveling on your own, you also need to show the travel itinerary i think. basically, with a schengen visa, you can travel within nations that have signed the schengen treaty stuff. http://www.schengenvisa.cc/ btw, amsterdam in winter? smart way to bypass touristy season but summer has more charms!

Since you got visa from German Embassy make sure the first EU country you land is Germany and not any other. After you land in Germany you are free to run whereever you like.

amazing discovery!! how did you know SKH = JPEG? man, am gonna love to revitalize my 'old relation' with SKH then!! you need to have a health insurance (at least the german embassy made me show it) in case of any health problems for which you might need prescription drugs or to get admitted in a hospital for serious cases. and a funny rule these germans have is that your university insurance is accepted for 3 months but if you intend to stay longer, you need to buy one here, which is extremely expensive! and i am quite sure that it depends on the country you enter first. so, check different countries' embassies to know the rules. if you don't show insurance, they don't give you visa. in case you don't have insurance, buy one for the period of travel only. shouldn't be so expensive just for your travel duration. but don't tell your insurance provider that you are traveling abroad. natra badhi daamchhan bajiyaharu. while you search other embassies, also try to compare if the app fee for visa is cheaper than germany (about 80). it shouldn't be practically but just in case. and if you have american pp, you require no visa.
