Hi

It is easy to apply UK visa from USA. You don need to appear in interview. Just fill the application form, send the copy of green card, send 3 month bank transation, 2 copies of photographs. One important thing is that you should give the fingerprinting. Post your all the documents to the UK consulate. After one wk you will get vis. If you have further question let me know.

thanks

interesting! i thought you didn't need a visa to travel europe on an american passport. may be it depends on the duration of stay but am pretty sure US pp holders don't require visa to go to europe.

depends how you envision 'visa'. if you mean the sticker kind of thing as in our F1 visa, then no, US pps don't get that. they (barcodes in the inside page) are scanned by a machine and that's it.

so, nepalis (and others) with greencards don't have american pps? oh my, i was in an illusion then! from what i understand, once you get gc, you can apply for american pp and then travel as an american. though second class, american pp is still american dude. am i wrong here? can somebody clarify this to me please?
