he is more of an acrobatic martial artist than a hero.i ve seen 3-4 of his films but not so impressed.a film has to be more than a kung fu demo.

Love all the above mentioned named people. But to me no one comes close to Bruce Lee; he was a man in a league of his own. Not only was he true martial artiste, he was a philosopher, innovator, choreographer and an actor. It is no wonder despite his demise more 30 years he is still remembered by both young and alike. He is indeed a true martial art legend and it is befitting that the title of father of mixed art as mentioned by Dana White fits him. Forget about Bollywood and Nepali fighting choreography. If they want to become better than they better watch Chinese movies : )

Shiva Linga, your comment based on your own experience, knowledge and expectation is fair enough. Well, as for me, being a ardent fan of martial art movies and also and exponent of martial art, I think there is no actor who can execute martial moves as well as Tony Jha currently. Though some moves might seem like acrobatic movement but do take into consideration that he is doing it for the movie and to make it look fanciful he has to do it. Overall, I can see that whatever strikes and moves he makes, I can more or less relate to it.

Tony jaa is not only an actor he is muay thai expert, choreographer and a director. As a grown man I can only be entertained by such skillful people when it comes to watching movies. I heard we no longer have to wait to see him in holywood movies as he is been in contact with several directors.

What people do not realize is that Bruce Lee is as popular as Michael Jackson through out the world. He is the most know person from the Asiatic continent (what you thought Amitab????)esp in the West. When black people in the US could hardly vote, Bruce was so mainstream and popular that he played Kato in Green Hornet, a tv show, in the 60s. So to say Asians are not included in the mainstream American entertainment is so wrong, we simply have no person with such presence like Bruce. He is the greatest, loved by billions, all of his martial art movies are classic. Jackie Chan is just an actor, he DOES NOT have real martial art skill, a great acrobatic funny person though. I'm not a fan of his. Jet is for real Wushu player, most importantly, he's a Tibetan Buddhist. Tony Jaa is the new phenom, he is absolutely great. Have not seen any movies recently. He needs to capitalize the opportunity in time or he will be forgotten. Has huge potential, hope to see more of his movies.
