Everyone does this. This is the easiest question in the Sajha. If your question is in your thread title I don't know the answer.

if you look at the subject, I think he meant to ask if he can deposit check from US bank account to any bank in Canada.

I am not sure about personal checks which I assume they will. But I know for sure that a Cashier's Cheque from any bank in the US can be deposited in a Canadian bank. The only problem is it will take at least two weeks to get cleared until you can have access to your funds.

Possible. Two problems - 1. Takes a while before it clears 2. Fees can be excessive, like $50 - $100..

In US it may take 2 weeks if there has been hold placed in the deposit, but since ur depositing ur US check in canada, it may not take as much time as 2 weeks or 15 days, but when u simply deposit ur check in ur account they don't charge u fees or anything, its just the transition to release the money with in country takes time so it may get delayed......

Yes we can. They do not charge any fees. However, it takes around 1 months to be cleared.
