Are you kidding or it is your short emotions??? If you really want to do something in Nepal, either take some experiance first but it is really difficult to get really jobs, aftoer that I think try to do something yours, but it is one of hardest challenging things because Nepal had lot of expertise in their field, even if they don't they will pretent, hope so, they have. To get a break through in your work, it is like eating hot potatos, so, even if you said, I know what I am doing and give me some work, they will initially say, don't say you are superior because you came from USA, after convincing them, it will be a start of another difficult chapters. I don't mean to discourage you, I mean to make a general menatality so that if you start working there, you will remember me and don't break easily.. Best of luck

That's a great idea and I really really appreciate your feelings and emotions. You are brave and this proves you are 1 in ten thousands. Most of us don't even dare to go back and start. We feel ashamed and ...everyone knows that. For your answers: Take all the recommendations you can from your professors, employers, managers you worked with and all the stuffs you can...Nepalese organizations want paper prints of letters and recommendations. Make sure you take all the original prints. Try Banking Sectors, Hospitals and UNDP, NGO and INGO too. Believe me, after a long run of time, you will have a social status that we can't ever make here PLUS you will earn and save a lot than we (nepalese) here in the States. Just go for your dream places. I am also returning back in 1 or 2 yrs and I don't want to hear any one talking bull shits when someone thinks about returning back to Nepal. Why do people think Nepal is a horrible place? After all, we started there and whatever we are today is due to nepal. Period!

while i admire you courage for thinking about going back to Nepal, finding satisfying jobs can be very difficult because of differences in work culture and system. plus pay. I don't know what kind of jobs you can have in Nepal with just an undergraduate degree and an additional work experiences in quite irrelevant fields. but one thing I know for sure is that your degree "Mathematics and Statistics" is very valuable here in the United States. I don't know what are you future plan for higher studies but i think you should go for master in the relevant fields. Since you have two years of IT, the best job that i can think is Quantitative Finance or Computational Finance, Financial engineering otherwise referred to as Quant Jobs. go and Google this degree, if you have slightest interest in it, you should definitely pursue it. it is worth it. These jobs are highly demanded in wall street or any fields where they need very critical analysis of any substance. pay starts from 6 figures but getting into universities is very difficult because of limited seats and competitiveness. if you like mathematics and statistics and programming, this is a right job for you. don't lose hope. right now it's a very bad time and everybody is suffering. if you really want to go back to Nepal, you should at least do you master. it means a lot there too
