Dear Computer experts, I am having annoying problem lately. It always ask me to update even right after I download updates.

is it a vista?
i had similiar issue after win 7 came out.
just keep on feeding it, it will get tired and shut up.

Yes it's vista, I didn't have problem before. It just started happening since 2-3 weeks. Does anybody know how choose system restore point 1 month or more prior date? I am only be able to do 5 days prior !!!!! unlike window XP.

i got same problems too, see my older post , many sajha user did help me on that.

lastly what i did was i change vista to win 7.

it asked me for update a lot of times. and after 3-4 upgrades, there was a big one, "the service Pack" this update took some time,
no problems since then.

Dude; It has nothing to do with the operating system, computer follows it's program. I am not a computer expert but as NightElf said let it update, once it's program is full it will stop upgrading.

Yes , it takes hours and hours to download service packs. It is good for your computer and no need to do system restore, Do not get tired of upgrade, what will you do when your computer is infected with unwanted bugs? And does not clean by regular anti virus software you have?
Specially for you, Do not go to those web, sexual site , like mastisamsar, free movie etc , do not open any attachment in your email box, that you do not know who is it form. I had a long fight with computer as well with family due to worm.

 

Mr syanjali, I get same update offer right after (within seconds) I install updates. I know something wrong. Do you happen to know how to choose restore point 1 month prior date on vista??

Is it your Newly new computer? Do not worry about it. If is is done with all upgrades, will not ask frequently  like this.

It's 2 years old computer, I din't have this problem before.

It should be doing that fast for 2 years old computer.

Let's do this way, go to update and do it by yourself, once it says there are no more updates, you can adjust auto updates to manual updates, that will save your irritation.
