guys pls help me out wz yr ans..i m here in oklohoma now, i over stayed, i cme in on tourist visa its already expired..is there anychance frm where i can  get driving license.., i am holding international license valid till one year from another country (not from nepal ) and i stil hav driving license fom nepal also n its valid for next 4 yrs. i heard dat frm callifornia we can get license dat wont work as ID just for driving propose, heard that so many mexicans are holiding that can of license and we have to renew that every year..something like that i m not sure...guys if u hav any idea/suggestion pls help me..thank u all..

I do not think in California you can get license without legal status.  Just until few years back you could get licence from the following states- Hawaii, Maine, Michigan, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington even though you did not have legal status or you were undocumented immigrants. But rules have gotten stricter over time so you might want to go to individual DMV sites of those states and find out more about license requirements.  Hope this helps.

Not sure abt Cali but you can get one from Illinois.
