call cingular customer service if the phone is on ur name , they will give it to for free

 if u got it from somewhere else then the only other way would be to pay to get the unlock code because each phone has a unique unlock code according to its IMEI number the guys on the internet generate it with your IMEI, I am not sure how effective they are though....
