राष्ट्रिय झन्डाको अपमान

काठमाडौं, (नेस), एकीकृत नेकपा (माओवादी) का सभासद् रामबहादुर थापा मगर (उदयपुर) ले संविधानसभामा आइतबार बोल्ने क्रममा राष्ट्रिय झन्डाको अपमान गर्नुभयो। 

‘पृथ्वीनारायण शाहले युद्धको समयमा विरोधीहरूलाई सुरुवाल फुकाएर देखाएका थिए र पछि सोही सुरुवाललाई नै झन्डा बनाइयो, त्यसैले सो झन्डालाई फेर्नुपर्छ’ -सभासद् मगरले भन्नुभयो। 

सभासद् थापाको अभिव्यक्तिको नेकपा (एमाले) का सभासद् डीबी कार्कीले तत्कालै प्रतिवाद गर्नुभएको थियो। ‘झन्डा एउटा प्रक्रियामा फेर्नु स्वाभाविक हो तर झन्डा नफेरुन्जेल जनताको मनमनमा रहेको झन्डालाई अपमान गर्न पाइँदैन र यसरी संविधान बन्न पनि सक्दैन’ -कार्कीले भन्नुभयो। नेपाली कांग्रेसकी सभासद् कमला पन्तले राष्ट्रिय झन्डा भनेको आमाजस्तै सम्माननीय भएकाले झन्डाको अपमान गर्न नहुने बताउनुभयो।
