Reading lots of comments on sajha, I find out that our young generation have really given up hope on our country, but let me tell you one thing my friends, whether you do or don't do anything for our motherland Nepal, I am gonna do something good for Nepal. I will not let our country disappear on world map as a poor third world country which is being easily manipulated by politicians or controlled by any bigger country for their own selfishness. I will not die with feeling that I did not tried my best to make our country better place to live. I hope there are more young Nepalese who not only have feeling but also have commitment to do something for Nepal. Being in US, or Austria or UK might secure ur future but not our country's future. Just remember if we all unite, we have, I repeat, we have, power to change our country. PEACE. .

Nepal ko lato, I understand that it would be lot easier if our Netas were not selfish. Nepali janata ko manobaal ma pakkai girawot aako chha, but we educated peoples are the ones who should not be let down by that girawat. We have at least some responsibility to try to fix it, don't we?

Jhapaliketo, I haven't done anything either, but I am not one of them who would just give hope. I would at least educate 5 poor kids in Nepal. Out of 5 kids, 3 kids might educate other 10 kids. our one small action could have ripple effect.

"Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country." - - John F. Kennedy Well we need to realize the fact that Nepalese simply do not want to return and try out something good for the motherland. The fear of failure, rejection and hard work in Nepal puts them to settle down wherever they are residing now. Only a handful of U.S graduate have return home and is contributing to the society. The rest...........well they just stayed back and worked at gas-station, restaurants and god knows what kind of other services. It is sad that it is a waste of talent and knowledge that he/she could have make an impact in Nepali society if one could have tried. As for me i am looking forward to return home and contribute my knowledge and skill at home.

Thanks syd_acid.......and CrazyHorse...go for it. I think that if we go back without plans or money then no matter how educated you are, kaanla muni ko bhyagutto kaanla muni nai rahanchha bhane jhai, We will get stuck too. you cannot pull people out well if you are inside the well. So I think we should have good plan or project and enough money to fund it when we go back to Nepal. What do u think abt that?
