KATHMANDU: Nearly 300 students were arrested in
Babylon Disco of Sundhara on Friday morning at 10 am in a series of
raids on dance bars, discos and restaurants of the capital. The raids
were carried out two days after the police swooped down on X Bar in
Sundhara and other dance bars on Wednesday.

The students were
caught in their college and school uniforms when the police entered the
bars accompanied by media persons. Students are of Sigma, Redhon, Youth
Vision, Siddharth Banasthali, Golden Academy, Caspian, Prime, Nobel
British Gurkha Academy and NCC among other colleges and schools in the
capital. The discos usually organise parties on Friday targeting
students who bunk classes to attend them.

The students have been
taken into custody in Hanuman Dhoka Metropolitan Police Range and Nepal
Police Club of Exhibition Road. Police said that the students were
caught consuming alcoholic drinks and drugs.

It is reported that
the police has begun its investigation into the incident. The proprietor
of one of the discotheques has also been arrested. According to the
police, the students would be subjected to medical tests for alcohol and
drugs.

HAHAHAHA nepali police has no BALLS to go out and fight real crime all they can do is harass younger generation, i believe these kids are mature enough to know what is good for em. that fkin video showed one kid who seemed to have passed out and based his whole dramatic drug story out of that. fk you stupid mofo psuedojournalist...if the disco/clubs have no control over who the allow in then the cops should punish the owners not the college kids. in a land of 12 + hrs of load shedding, curfew after 11pm country run by DOUCHE BAGS who don't know their ELBOW from their ASSES i don't blame em for bunking school and going to the discos, i used to do it all the time and i believe it is a part of growing up ....as long as you get yer school work done and educate yerself i don't give a flying fk who goes where and at what time they go there. FK YOU NEPAL GOVERNMNET FK YOU NEPAL POLICE!!.

Few points:

1. Those kids who think they didn't anything wrong than bunking the class, why would you then hide your face? Coz of police? When they arrest people during demonstration, they don't hide their face. I personally don't have any issue here, I just wouldn't hide my face...but then again I am not a teenager.

2. What is up with these kids in KTM wearing shirt and tie with shirt hanging out, not tucked in. That looks so khate, no offense to khates.

3. Why do the mongolian ones have same haircut as Jap kids?

4. Did you really goto the club in broad daylight??? WTF, that means the organizer wanted them to bunk their classes.

I don't think that there is much to fuss about it. It is going to do no good until there is a good law and order in the country.

I don't blame the kids trying to have some fun. That is the age when you are willing to try anything and everything. When you don't have proper guidance you may end up on a wrong street on your way of life. That is life.

Main problem is not the kids who want to enjoy it is the environment that is created around them. What does Bunker's Party mean?? So there is an encouragement to bunk your classes. Further What is the government role in this?? What is the role of party organizers in this?? If they don't let people in uniform inside the club, will we be observing the same situation??

And there are people like roshankhadka who believe that killing the kids going to party is answer or locking them in their room so they can't go to those parties is the answer to this. If those kids had privileges to attend parties at proper time I don't think they would be tempted to bunk their class and go there in their uniform. It is excess control of parents like you that encourages teenagers to rebel and do this kind of shit.

Go to disco bar, strip club or whorehouse, doesn't matter but not bunking classes !
