I was trying to find a SUV for me online and found one at the dealership for the price range I was looking for. They also had a free CARFAX history linked with the listing. I went through it and it stated "Inconsistent Odometer reading possible odometer rollback"...and since I already had Auto Check's account too, I decide to check it out and found that it did not reported any odometer issues, but reported an accident on a same vehicle! So both reported stuffs that other did not reported...That made me think which one is reliable??? ...Thought I should let people know about this...so, see both reports for yourself below for the same vehicle:

I think the odometer rollback in that carfax is not true. the earlier mileage 50,133 was just list by some mechanic at oil change place who mite have mistakenly added one more 3 at the end. Autocheck seems more efficient here. but in the most of the cases i observed, i have found carfax better....
