Simpel: dude people  are making 911 call for absurd reasons. He may call, do not make a joke on new people rather give them proper guidance or do not show khatepan.

One sincere advice is

Don't wear a formal pant shirt when job hunting as most DV winners do. Students know in advance what kind of work they will be doing after they come here if they don't have scholarship.

Most job are gone through the networking ( about 80-85 %), that is what he is trying to do. Some of us are smart every where but must of us need time and understand the new culture and many things.

What is your qualification? what type of job you want?

Why would i be jealous of a fellow countryman who's unemployed at the moment. if residency was the thing to make me jealous then i would rather be more jealous of a homeless flying a sign. I was just curious how he managed to get a green card , thats all. Sorry i had no good advise to give him on how to look for jobs so all i did was wished him a good luck , thats all i can do anyway.

Simple keta ji, you mean your friends work as 911 operators?are they new to the country or born here? i am living here for more than a decade but honestly i can't imagine doing that job. missing a small detail or having a small language barrier can cost lives or big disasters. now again, i am just wondering not suggesting anything...

These damn folks who are so called nepali students think themselves too superior. Why do u envy over somebody's residentship? Cause u don't have one? If u can't give a pure advice, don't even dare to make fun of someone who is in need of desparate help.

Hey Welcome to the US bro......Columbus GA nice place ..I was there for my Army Infantry training in Fort Benning , sorry...I cant help you coz  I'm not stationed there now BUT ......try looking for a Army civilian jobs like a linguist or any thing available. Its a huge Base and jobs are in plenty...hows your english, Nepali and hindi...try the hospital its Martin community Hospital..hope this helps.

Ayushlal you have a GreenCard and good english go to gas station where you see indian's and ask them for a job but dont work there too much,., look for temp agencies, they will really hook you up

Ayushlal, from what I know, DV winners can choose the state they want to settle. If no one was out there to help you why did you opted to stay there ??? ( Though, from your English it looks you are the smartest among the Nepali DV winners so far !)......
