Welcome: To the land of dream and let's face the the real life drama of America. You will manage it. Which subject you will be studying ? If it is pure science and you manage to get straight A, you may get full scholarship and you will be doing fine. But what the rest 50% and how you will be going to manage it? Have you ever thought about it? Is your parents going to pay it or you are going to work in on campus will be suffice ? We do not think it will be enough for tuition but you have pay for lodging and food too? Yes, it is definitely be the greatest day of life getting an US visa but you will see the rest as you enter. Again welcome to USA and hope things shapes well with you and we will not be seeing your frustration as usual under your log in name. What ever we wrote, it is true but we manage it and you can manage it too.

badhai cha!
i suggest you look for opportunity to make ur SSN as soon as u get here. Look for on campus jobs that will help u get one. Once thats done, work towards making a good credit history. get a small credit/secured line and be prompt on payments for next 6-12 months then go ahead an apply for a bigger card.
if u have the money, get a driver's licence asap and look into buying a cheap car (like a $3000 toyota corolla) which will get u thru a lot of unnecessary tensions. at the same time invest in a decent spec laptop (dell is a good company).
If you know of anyone here (friend or relative) try to get into their cell phone plan (tmobile is a decent carrier)
make lots of friends both nepali and non-nepali. just dont stick exclusively with nepali crowd. dont be afraid to try out new things. it only comes once :)
all the while that you are having fun partying, road-trippin, smoking, "bird watching & hunting" always keep your priorities at the back of your head, and never forget where you come from, or where you are headed.
its exciting times for you, once again congratulations, and welcome.
