What's wrong with that? If dogs can do it, so can our cousins.

@stiffler we came from apes, not monkeys..do you understand the difference? If you say we were all once related...then you ancestor is a shark. How does that logic work? Dogs are used for their scientifically proven "better than human being" sense of smell and their ability to follow basic instructions. Maybe India is being a step ahead to utilize monkey and prove the world they know what they are doing..or maybe they're just making monkey (langur) out of themselves. Who knows.

It is only a matter of outsourcing jobs: from human to monkeys.

@Rewire
Now that you want to get technical. Monkeys and Human, plus apes all belong to same class, Primates and same division Anthropoids. Anthropoids is further divided into Apes, monkeys and hominids; the latter with human origins. We resemble more like apes because of the missing tails but we all share same ancestors; unlike shark which you have to go too high up in chain to find the common root. Do YOU understand the difference now?
What I was pointing out was that it shouldn't be taken as a shocker since animals are already being used for such purpose.
