An eldery woman (never been to foreign countries and can not read , write and speak English ) is visiting USA to meet her daughter. She is planning to visit immediately after Tihaar. Anyone coming form KTM to NY(JFK) / Newark/ DC in last week of October ( 1st week of Nov) and returning back after nealry six months will make her  journey easier and comfortable.

Please share information, if somebody is coming to USA during those time period. Thanks.

Or you can give that responsibility to Airlines it will be very good and helpful let her have detail information about the person whom she is visiting in US printed in paper . Her name/visting from and To , Phone number of person whom she is visiting teach her to show the paper ..also mention what she likes to eat eg : Veg or Non Veg .

I understand what your situation exactly is. My mom traveled from Kathmandu to USA last year. So in that case i wrote a letter describing everything ie. where she is coming and what she you prefer to eat and so on as iPwN mentioned in his/her comment. While getting tickets i specially told the ticket counter to provide her with wheelchair assistant. Then Airlines personnel will pick her up from the tunnel to next terminal or to a particular section where she should be. And also in the paper asked them to call her daughter as soon as she lands in USA port. MY mom was able to talk with me as soon as she landed to USA port through airlines people. Wheel chair assistant will be perfect way to do for safe and comfortable arrival in USA port.
best of luck
hope this will help

Thank you iPwN and Supernote,

It would be great help if somebody is with her to guide. She has flexible travel dates, any day between 3rd week of October to 1st week of Nov, any airlines. Please share information.
