ABSTRACT
Starting
with the short description of the Big Bang and first few moments; a general
description of the birth, evolution and eventually death of stars will lead to
Neutron stars and Black Holes. This cosmological part will serve as an
introduction to the continuous aggregation of star ejecta after supernova
explosions and star formation. Attention will be given to the dust component in
clouds and the combination of heavy elements with Hydrogen to form organic
molecules of pre-biotic type. The lecture will conclude with the formation of
solar systems and the origin and possibly cosmic presence of life
