wait it's not that easy. yo don't get ab anything hile your case is pending other than work permit. that too you need to have your case pending for 150 days, then you file for it and as i understand it takes usually around 4 months to get work permit. you will only get instate and grants once your case is approved. you get a work permit every year which costs your 340 some dollars to renew. once your case is approved then you get 2 year work permit but you can file gc in a year which is not guranteed will be approved.
remember: once your case goes to court for which you have to be out of status, you will be working another 4 or 5 years to pay off the lawers and you will be tensed and worried all the time of getting denied and deported that you won't be focus on your career or in life overall .
also asylum can be revoked if they ever found out you lied , or if your country condition improves or if you go to your country. remember, asylum is not everythig after a year you have to file fo green card and lately lots of Nepali ppl are having real hard time getting approved. asylum is not easy cake as you think it is. it's for people who fear persuction if they ever go back not for ppl who can't find a job in this bad economy. if your case is real go for it, but don't try to play with the most generous system out there jus coz some Nepalis are doing it. if you're busted your asylum, green card and although little hard but even citizenship can be striped.
